No, you aren't apologizing for being a Christian. Apologetics are the skills of defending the faith. Where did this word come from and what exactly is apologetics?

We live in a world where objections to Christian beliefs and values are increasing and getting louder.  Since almost the beginning of time, belief in God was enough to bring suffering. Are we ready for that?

Apologetics isn't like a gallon of milk that you get, use, and throw away. It's something we might hope we never use (even though we will use it frequently). Our arguments are used differently though.

We are thrilled to launch the Northwest Arkansas Worldview Academy. We believe there are three pillars to good apologetics: Spirit-filled, spiritually fit, and intellectually fit. The Spirit fills without our input, but we want to help you with your spiritual fitness and intellectual fitness. We want you to participate any of our several opportunities for apologetics training.

• Spiritual Fitness Bootcamp - We have one day "boot camps" on one Saturday every quarter where we will work intensively on the exercises Christians do to build spiritual fitness. The cost is $35 and covers all materials you will need except your Bible. This is a class in which you will learn by doing, not listening to someone lecture.

• In-person Courses - Meet with others in person, where together we'll learn apologetics from the arguments for the existence of God to understanding other world religions and logical thinking to persuasive communication. 

• Online Courses - Can't attend in person? No problem! As we produce new courses, we'll record most of them and make them accessible as an online course.

• KiDZ Camp / Student Apologetes - We also have camps for kids and students to become apologetes. We cover much of the same information but do so in a more age appropriate fashion.
