Summer Apologetics Series: Problems with Proposals

When we try to present Christianity logically, we have to be careful with how we do so. For example, we could certainly say "God is love." But what flows from that truth statement? God is love, love prohibits harm those loved, therefore God will not send anyone to hell. Wait a minute... haven't we all heard that bad argument before? But what's wrong with the argument? It is true that God is love. It's also true that love is patient, kind, protects, and so forth (1 Cor. 13). But we know God has and will send the faithless to hell. What are we missing? 

We'll talk about that in this edition of our Summer Apologetics Series. Specifically we'll deal with how many opponents of Christianity resort to propositional fallacies to attack the faith. We'll also look at how sometimes we use propositional fallacies in defending the faith. We'll learn better ways to defend and give answers for what we beleive.
